Sure! I know Jolteon will follow your commands out of all of my pokémon, and you'll have me and Cilan there. Cilan's a Gym Leader too, and you told me you've worked with pokémon over a digital realm -- this way, you'll know exactly what it's like to battle in person, and Cilan will be able to tell how you're doing!

Seeing a pokémon match behind glass and experiencing it for yourself... there's no comparison! I won't let you miss out!

I mean, you're right! That's right! Tell me what you and the Dark Devas like and don't like, and I'll write it down! Are you going to have any other companions with you?

Of course. I have chosen to live amongst you humans for the time being, so it's only natural that I will participate in your festivities from time to time. [He had grown oddly used to dining with everyone on the island. So, it doesn't seem so bad.]

Kehehe... Even my all-seeing eye cannot divine how many companions I will form contracts with by the appointed hour. But, I shall be sure to update you should my roster of subordinates changes... for now, it may only be the dark devas and myself.

I will transmit a detailed list of our likes and dislikes, but let me spell some things out to you upfront. I am particularly fond of the fruit which bears the demon's face. I also have a preference for salty tastes, and I refuse to interact with the livestock industry in any way, shape, or form. I will only consume the flesh of a beast that has died with honor. And the Dark Devas of Destruction have a taste for many delectable seeds... It will deter them from trying to consume their brethren.

Only if their hunger is not staved by mystical seeds. Like any other animal, they do have their clashes for territory, which can turn quite bloody without intervention. I have risked my life many a time to challenge their bloodlust...

[He speaks of all of this as common fact. Though it's likely that the hamsters may just roughhouse a lot.]

Where do you get these seeds from? Do you need help getting them...?

I have managed to amass my own personal store in my time in this world. The magical spark is produced in many an ordinary-looking seed... so it is no exceptionally difficult.

Oh, okay. ... I'll see what I can find though, for the weekend! Seeds with a..."magical spark".

[ Get seeds, put emotional energy into them?? We shall test this later. ]

So magic seeds, salty foods, no meat, and... a devil fruit? Is that in Shaarnath?

...Not to my knowledge. But feel free to ask around. Some lower level lifeforms may only know it as a 'pumpkin'.

Oh! That's right! I saw people carving faces into them. They had them all over Verens last year.

[ If his cheery energy hadn't already calmed, it might now with a shift in his voice. ] ...I think it's getting close to that time again. In a month or two? Some of the pumpkins came to life after a giant one attacked the city.

[He does briefly look surprised at the mention of the pumpkin attack, but he quickly transitions into an expecting smirk.]

There must have been demonic energy dwelling in the pumpkins' roots. Now that I am here, any calamity like that shall easily be prevented.
