[That's said under his breath, more to himself than at Gundam, but it's probably loud enough that he's able to hear it. Ryuji gives him one last flat look before he journeys onward further into the maze.]
C'mon, man. Let's go before we get even more lost and this maze makes us its dinner or somethin'.
[It's a little further, a few more lefts and rights while Ryuji tries his best to stay as calm as possible. It's been hard, especially when the stupid stalks come and slap him in the face out of nowhere, or when they shift and change on them all of a sudden, but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel because he can see a clearing just up ahead.
Despite all of the strangeness of the situation, he slaps Gundam on the back.]
Hrk! [Gundam stumbles forward slightly with the slap, and his feelings of distrust cause a translucent barrier to surround him for the moment.]
Do not strike me you fiend! It seems that my evil eye has successfully guided us to the labyrinth's end. But is exit one of heaven or of hell, I wonder?
[Ryuji steps back a little from him, raising his brows again, before he points to the opening as they near it, and there's a table set up that he can see covered in... stuffed animals?
He looks a little... bummed.]
I dunno, depends on how you feel about those Arehtei plushes.
You... are unworthy of even that level of contact. [He speaks with authority as he steps forward and beholds the prize table!
Gundam cracks a grin.]
Kehehe... If that's all you see in them, then that's just the limit of your perceptions. The sacred power of lost elder gods sleeps within these totems!
[With an oddly warm smile, he grabs a few cute-looking plushies and examines them carefully.]
[He ignores the first comment and follows Gundam over to the table of plushes and, despite having expected something far cooler like food or money, up close, he's gotta admit that these things are kinda cute.
Ryuji picks up a Thras plush and turns it over. They're pretty well-made, too.]
I mean, I guess they aren't that bad. Which one're you gonna take?
[Gundam tries not to look too curious as he glances over towards Ryuji's choice, with a smirk.]
Thras? I see. That's not a bad choice! May he serve as a worthy vessel for your soul, you fiend...
[As Ryuji extends his hands for a handshake, Gundam doesn't move either of his arms towards it. Rather, Gundam just stares at the outstretched human hand as if trying to will it away.]
May you fare well in the rest of today's battles. You will not be able to count on my aid beyond this point!
[Well, that's awkward. When Gundam doesn't take his hand for a shake, Ryuji lets it slide to the back of his head where he scratches self-consciously. His staring seems to have done the trick.]
Y-yeah.
[What else are you supposed to say to that!? Especially after being called something like a fiend!]
Take care of yourself, man.
[And Ryuji just kind of... walks away... with the Thras plush in his arms. What an experience that was.]

I'm gonna take this guy, then... since he's the one I'm aligned with. [He's also a real cool dragon and how can you say no to that.]
Well, uh... [Ryuji extends his free hand, sheepishly, for a shake.] Good luck with the rest of the festival?
